Who is ready for HTTP/3?

My talk given at the Hive Talks meetup.

I gave a more detailed talk on the same topic at EuroPython 2020.

Abstract

HTTP is the foundation of the current web, and HTTP/3 is the upcoming major version of it. It is built on top of the QUIC transport protocol built originally by Google.

I will explain to you why you should care about HTTP/3 and what makes it unique. We will discuss how major internet players like Akamai are preparing for the new protocol and how you can try it yourself today.
